enter the new term story

The new school term begins tomorrow.

Half of me thinks it's good. The other half, rather unsurprisingly, thinks otherwise.

The shuffling of classes ain't doing any justice. Just when you think you've made the right friends, the party lasts only 6 months, and you realise you've actually gotta start all over again. From scratch.

A new class translates to an opportunity in making new friends, until you remind yourself that only a handful will truly become friends. The rest, as history has shown before, will simply remain as mere faces etched into our somewhat fickle memory.

There's something else on my mind. It ain't my agenda, but it's my mission. I gotta begin nailing the results. It's difficult, but I must. And hopefully, I will.

Maybe pessimism is trying hard to seek solace in me.

I shan't let it. There's always something to look forward to I guess, or is that me just kidding myself again?

then i said 'hi' to blogging, again...

So, after what seemed like countless months, I'm finally back from my hiatus in the blogging world. It's definitely something that I've been all too familiar with. Anyone who's frequented my past blogs would know that my blogs, though large in numbers, didn't quite exist long enough for that matter. I aim to break that habit, but then you'd easily remember that that's a common saying of mine. Time will tell. I guess the best option would be to sit back and see whether the story unfolds... or if the blog folds.

It's the long-term poly vacations and thus far, it's been a routine mixture of work and play. Personally, I'd feel that the best way to spend a holiday is to go on a "holiday", but I don't quite have that luxury at the moment. In fact, I've not had it for 3 years now. But, surely, that luxury's drawing nearer by the day. I hope.

Despite cutting down on my gaming time recently, I still find myself spending the same number of hours, as I normally do, in front of the PC. All that may change from as early as next week, when I land my hands on a Sony Playstation 3 video game console.

I'm still considering whether now would be the best time to pick up that black beauty, for rumours of a 40GB Playstation 3 console have been flooding the gaming circuit of late. Apparently, they're all still just rumours at the moment, though a "big" announcement from Sony is expected on October 12. What else could possibly be "big", I wonder?

Since we're on the topic of video gaming consoles, I thought I might as well share the next interesting bit with you guys. While I was surfing around on the Internet, I chanced upon a French gaming website, Wiiz, that posted an article on a Nintendo Wii clone from guess where... *Drum rolls* I'm pretty sure that there's only one country running through your head now.

Notice the theme and setting of the ad? They're just too horribly similar to the original.

In case you're still pondering over where the Vii originated from, it's China, which I bet you guessed right.

I'll be off to a class chalet from tomorrow till Thursday. Go figure what the next post's gonna comprise of... =P

Disclaimer: I uploaded the picture above on Photobucket to save the lads at Wiiz some precious bandwidth, but it goes without saying that the image is still the property of Wiiz. Just thought I should point that out.
